How it works with FluxFront
- 01Connect your companyIn Settings → Integrations, click Connect QuickBooks and sign in as an admin of your QuickBooks Online company.
- 02Match your accountsPick the QuickBooks items for labour, parts, tires, sublet, shop fees and discounts, your HST and no tax codes, and the account payments go to.
- 03Send one to checkSend a single invoice first and look at it in QuickBooks. When it looks right, turn on automatic sending.
- 04Issue as usualFrom then on, each invoice you issue goes over within minutes, followed by its payments.
What syncs
What lands in QuickBooks
FluxFront sends the invoice exactly as it was issued, not a draft that might still change. Nothing is read back from QuickBooks into your shop records.
- The customer, matched by name or created when new
- The invoice, with your FluxFront invoice number
- The exact HST FluxFront charged, line by line
- Each payment, applied to its invoice

Questions shops ask
Does it work with QuickBooks Desktop?
No. The integration is for QuickBooks Online companies in Canada.
Will my old invoices be sent over?
No. Invoices go across from the day you choose when you connect. You can still send an earlier one by hand.
Will QuickBooks show the same invoice number?
Yes, when Custom transaction numbers is turned on in your QuickBooks sales settings. The connection screen tells you if it is off.
Does a change in QuickBooks come back to FluxFront?
No. FluxFront sends to QuickBooks; it does not read your QuickBooks records back.
I am switching from QuickBooks. Can my history come with me?
Yes. We can bring your customer list and past invoices in from your own QuickBooks exports when you join.
