Features · Labour estimates

Labour hours researched for the car in the bay.

Type the job on the work order. FluxFront researches how long it should take on that year, make and model, and shows you a lower, typical and higher estimate. You pick one and click Apply.

FluxFront does not license a labour guide. These are AI researched estimates that a person reviews. Nothing lands on the invoice until someone at your shop applies it, and you can always type your own hours.

  • No setup fee
  • No contract
  • 30 day money back

How it works

Research, review, apply

The estimate is a starting point for your judgement, not a replacement for it.

  1. 01Each line researched on its ownJob names show up as you type. The hours follow in the background, worked out for the vehicle on that work order.
  2. 02Three numbers, not oneA lower, typical and higher estimate, each with a short note on what it allows for. Vague jobs get separate scenarios to choose from.
  3. 03You click ApplyThe whole job is previewed line by line before anything changes. Your rate and taxes are applied the usual way.

Built for real jobs

Shared time counted once

When two lines overlap, like pads and rotors written as separate lines, the shared work is counted once and split between them. The preview explains how.

The research also looks at how your own shop has billed the same job on the same year, make and model, so the estimate reflects how you actually work.

  • A finished estimate stays with the line until the job name changes
  • Editing the hours by hand never sends it back for research
  • If research fails, you type the hours like you always have

Plain rules

What these numbers are, and are not

Estimates, clearly labelled

Every hour shown is an AI researched estimate. It is never presented as a licensed or flat rate time.

A person decides

No hours are written to a work order without someone at your shop choosing them.

Customer details stay out

The research works from the vehicle and the job description. Customer names, the VIN and the plate are not part of the request.

FAQ

Questions shops ask

Is this a licensed labour guide?

No. FluxFront does not license a labour guide. The hours are AI researched estimates from public repair information and your own shop's past jobs. A person reviews them and decides.

Does anything change on the invoice by itself?

No. You see a preview of every affected line and the hours change only when you click Apply.

What if the job description is vague?

You get separate scenarios to pick from, for example different parts of an exhaust job. Only work that cannot be identified at all asks you for more detail.

Can I still type my own hours?

Yes. Manual entry is always there, including when research cannot find an answer.

Is it in both plans?

Yes. Every FluxFront feature is in Regular at $299 a month and Advantage at $449 a month, in CAD, with no setup fee.
