Earning follows the money
Paid invoices earn. Refunds take it back.
Points and visits are added when a work order is fully paid. If it is refunded or the invoice grows, what it earned is taken back automatically.
Turning the program on never earns for past invoices. To thank a regular for past visits, add points by hand with a reason.

Questions shops ask
When do customers earn?
When the work order is fully paid. A job below your minimum, or a $0 invoice, does not count as a visit.
What happens on a refund?
Whatever that work order earned is reversed automatically.
Does tax earn points?
No. Points per dollar use the subtotal before tax, after any discounts.
Can two people at the counter spend the same points?
No. Redemptions are handled one at a time per customer, so the same points cannot be spent twice.
Can customers see their points?
Yes, if you choose. The balance and rewards show on the link in their appointment texts.
