Features · Deferred work and quick jobs
Declined work comes back at the next visit.
When a customer says not today, the job is saved on the car with its price. Next time that car comes in, it is right there on the work order, one click to add.
Common jobs live in a library of service packages. The ones you use most sit on the invoice bar, so a full oil change or brake job goes on in one click.
- No setup fee
- No contract
- 30 day money back
Illustrative. Saved jobs show on the next work order for the same car.
Deferred work
Nothing declined gets forgotten
- 01The customer chooses per jobOn the estimate, the customer can mark each job Keep, Later or Remove. The approved total updates to match.
- 02You move it to the carOne action moves the whole job, labour, parts and fees together, onto the vehicle's saved list.
- 03It comes backOn the car's next work order, add the saved job at its saved price with today's tax, or dismiss it.
Quick jobs
Your most common jobs, one click away
Pick up to twelve jobs for the invoice bar in your settings. Until you choose, the bar starts with an oil change, front and rear brakes, a seasonal tire changeover and a check engine diagnostic.
Each quick job is a full service package: the labour, the parts and the shop fee go on together.
- Labour uses your own rate
- Parts without a price go on at $0 for you to price
- A shop fee carried by two jobs is charged once
Service packages
A starter library you own
The first time you open your service library, it fills with common jobs you can edit, rename or archive.
Shaped by your history
Starter labour is set from your shop's rate and adjusted by how your shop has billed the same job before.
Filled for the car
Rows like engine oil and the oil filter can be filled from the vehicle specs, with a review step before they go on.
Safe to edit
Changing a package never changes a job already on a work order or paperwork already issued.
FAQ
Questions shops ask
Where does deferred work show up?
On the next work order for the same vehicle. You can add each saved job again or dismiss it.
Does the old price carry over?
The saved price comes back with the job. Tax is worked out again on the day it is added.
Can the customer defer work themselves?
Yes. On the estimate they can answer Keep, Later or Remove for each job. Your shop then decides what to do with the answer.
How many quick jobs fit on the bar?
Up to twelve, chosen from your service library in Business Settings.
Do I have to use the starter packages?
No. They are ordinary packages in your library. Edit them, rename them or archive them. Archived starters do not come back.
